        The MERC Summit is an annual conference held by the Metropolitan Educational Research Consortium with the goal of addressing emerging issues within PK12 education through the informing of policy and building the knowledge of key stakeholders to create better outcomes for students, schools, and communities. 

         I was hired to take on the task of developing the creative direction and branding for the 2023 MERC Summit. This job required me to conceptualize various designs which enhanced the core values of MERC in visually interesting ways while following brand guidelines and maintaining a cohesive yet functional aesthetic across different mediums. I was responsible for creating promotional print materials such as posters, a digital web banner, and printed program for the members attending the 2023 MERC Summit. All designs follow an established system of color, typography, and visual language.
